The Developing Countries Forum has been launched on October 25, 2005 in Washington DC. Regular meetings are organized to discuss issues related to competitiveness and developing countries. These meetings are open to all interested TCI members and Donor organizations.

Under the theme "Stimulating Competitiveness for Sustainable Economic Development", the third regional conference in Africa will take place in Dar-es-Salaam, Tanzania on September 3-7, 2006. Please note that the venue has changed and the conference will be in the Kunduchi Beach Hotel and Resort in Dar es Salaam. The Opening eremony will be on September 03 (Sunday) at 17 Hours.

The Conference on Competitiveness for Asia and Pacific in Islamabad in May 2006 will address and identify the competitiveness potential of the leading economies in this region.
