TCI Immediate Past President Lars K. Eklund

Dr. Lars Eklund is the Immediate Past President and Director on the Board of The Competitiveness Institute (TCI). He is also a Member of the Advisory Board of the Pan African Competitiveness Forum. Lars is the Director of Competitiveness at the Swedish Governmental Agency for Innovation Systems VINNOVA.

He earned his PhD at the Stockholm School of Economics and has worked as a scientific, political and action researcher and counsellor at a number of international research institutions, organisations, governments, notably the European Union. He is about to set up his own Stockholm based company.
