Joao ZaleskiProfessor, University of Santa Catarina Brazil Joćo Zaleski Neto graduated in Engineering from the Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina, in the south of Brazil in 1985. For five years he worked with Administration of Projects in a firm of Consulting Engineering, in the planning of Hydroelectric Plants. He then entered the Master's Program in the Department of Production and Systems Engineering, defending his dissertation on Organizational Structuring, in 1993. After concluding the Master's program, he worked in small firms and, having entered the Doctorate Program in the same institution where he had obtained his M.S., defended his thesis on Flexible Business Networks, a Delphi study that was carried out with the generous participation of specialists of world renown. After receiving his doctorate, he taught Administration of Production and Financial Mathematics, and has participated on Selection Boards evaluating final papers for the conclusion of the undergraduate program, as well as master's dissertations, qualifying exams for the doctorate and doctorate theses. He has written many articles, many of which have been published. He advises students regarding specific aspects of Production Management and on concepts of Flexible Networks. |
