Executive Director, Regional Development and Economic Immigration Branch ? Alberta Economic Development (AED)

Rick is directly responsible for AED's 10 Regional Offices located throughout the province and the work they do in supporting the 10 Regional Economic Development Alliances and 2 Metro Initiatives focused on regional development issues. The economic immigration component of the branch focuses on delivery of the Provincial Nominee Program and attracting economic migrants and skilled workers to Alberta. Rick was most recently involved in leading the efforts of AED in staging Canada's first ever National Symposium on Regional Economic Development Best Practices (www.alberta-canada.com/reda2004).
