Regional policy in the regions
A report which compares the economic policies in differing regions in European countries. Four countries were selected and their regional policies compared: Denmark, France, England and Belguim.
The main types of organisations which were selected for review were:
For all these bodies, the main area of interest is in how they were financed and managed and, in particular how they cooperated with each other and with central government.

- Regional organisations involoved in delivery of economic developement policies and either centrally funded or come under the influence of central govenment
- National government offices in the regions which deliver or coordinate central government policies at the regional level
- Sectoral agencies which operate on behalf of the central government in the regions
