A report by agiplan for the European Commission Directorate General Enterprise on transnational technology networking between existing clusters of SME's and one or more technology poles.

The principal role of this report was to establish the most appropriate method of setting up a transnational technology network, in this case in the automative industry.

This was done mainly through:

• a collection and analysis of data gathered through questioning enterprises from different technology networks
• on interviews and workshops with cluster managers, companies and technology poles from seven automative regions
