Proposals for the project to create a framework for establishing the "Competitiveness Observatory" in Jordan.

The Government of Jordan via the Jordanian National Competitiveness Team in the Ministry of Planning and international Cooperation (MoPIC) is seeking proposals from experienced and reputed local and international consultancy firms (either individually, or in joint ventures) to create a framework for establishing the "Competitiveness Observatory" and participate in the publication of its first annual report.
The Competitiveness Observatory will measure and monitor Jordan's competitiveness based on a set of indicators, which will enable the assessment of the macro- and micro- economic performance of the country, and provide a comprehensive and accurate evaluation of the current state of Jordanian firms and sectors, and the condition of the business environment in which they operate. The Observatory will focus on tracking certain indicators individualized for a prescribed number of sectors to monitor these sectors' competitiveness. These Jordanian sectors can then be benchmarked against their counterparts both regionally and internationally.

More information can be found in the PDF file and contacting Naseem Rahahleh: naseem.r @ mop.gov.jo . Upon a telephone or email request, the terms may be sent by fax or email to interested parties.
