Industrial districts as learning regions
This 1997 paper by Marco Bellandi was presented at the Regional Science Association 37th European Congress, Rome, Italy.
This paper looks at the view that the idea of a dynamic district is a "learning region", that is of a territory in which learning processes are embedded into the network of relations which identifies the system itself. This view shall be illustrated in this report alongside applications and comparisons with other theories of learning regions.
