INJO Seminar in Maastricht: Detecting Weak Signals
A three day seminar on Innovation Journalism will be organized in Maastricht, Netherlands, on July 25-27 by the European Journalism Centre in association with Amsterdam-Maastricht Summer University.
The keynote speaker David Nordfors, Stanford University, will discuss the ideas behind innovation journalism, and participants are given the opportunity to explore various topics related to innovation and innovation ecosystems in Europe during the three days of seminar.
Not only will this event examine innovation developments in the (soon to be) integrated newsrooms (e.g.: Workflow and convergence issues when integrating print/online/audio/video etc.), it also provides a close look into the winners and losers in the innovation space (Apple vs. Sony, Skype vs. Telcos).
"Innovation Journalism: Detecting weak signals" is open to journalists and journalism students, scholars in media and communication studies, other media professionals covering innovation within traditional newsrooms or freelancing as "tech writers", PR experts and business developers within innovation driven companies.
