EU Commissioner: Europe needs Innovation Journalism

The EU Commissioner for Science and Research, Janez Potocnik, held a speech in favor of Innovation Journalism at the Stanford po Stanford regional innovation journalism conference in Ljubljana, Slovenia, on June 14th.

The Commissioner, who learned about the concept from David Nordfors, spoke about how innovation journalism can increase the understanding of the value of knowledge and thereby get the political, fincancial and public support for it.
