Call for papers Cape Town
The host of the TCI Annual Global Conference 2008 in Cape Town has still open a call for proposals.
Proposed abstracts are invited to address, but not limited to, the core themes running through the TCI conference. These include:

the role of cluster initiatives in fostering innovation and entrepreneurship

skills programmes and exports development through clusters

increasing university and industry partnerships via clusters

the tools and institutional architecture behind clusters
-
lessons from running and managing comprehensive cluster programmes
-
how clusters can reduce commodity dependencies
-
clusters and value chains
TCI Academic Summit
Proposed abstracts are invited for The Academic Summit that will take place prior to the conference on Tuesday, 28th October 2008. Scholars from around the world are invited to submit papers on the theme "Meeting the Challenges of Globalisation". The best papers will be submitted for publication in the journal
Economic Development Quarterly.
