TCI Secretary Alberto Pezzi

Alberto Pezzi from Barcelona, Spain is TCI's secretary. Alberto Pezzi is Head of analysis of the Observatory of Industrial Foresight of the Catalan Government Centre for Innovation and Business Development (CIDEM) - www.cidem.com with direct responsibilities in industry competitiveness and cluster-based initiatives.

Alberto has over ten years experience in regional development and cluster initiatives working both in the private sector and in regional governement in Emilia-Romagna and Catalonia. His last publication is the "Map of the Local Industrial Production Systems of Catalonia" published in October 2005. He is also visiting professor at the Master in Local and Regional Development of the University of Barcelona and speaker in different international conferences and forums on competitiveness and regional development. He has been involved in TCI since its foundation in 1998 as first Secretary and manager.

Alberto holds a degree in Economics by the University of Bologna and a Postgraduate Diploma in Law, Economics and Policy of the European Union by the European College of Parma (Italy).
