Ainia Technology Centre joins CeFood.inc project

Ainia Technology Centre, based in Valencia, Spain, has officially joined the European project CeFood.inc, a European project which is estimated to run until the end of 2006.

The CeFood.inc project is a subproject of another European project called touriSME. TouriSME's goals are to strengthen interregional co-operation between European regions as well as to increase intraregional networking between administrations, institutions, associations and diverse public and private actors.

The CeFood.inc project was one of four projects selected from a shortlist of fourteen to receive European funding. The lead participant in this project is the region of Saxony-Anhalt and the other participants are the regions of Valencia and North East of England. The aim behind the project is strengthen and improve the competitiveness of the SMEs involved in the agri-food sector of the regions.
