Noise, vibration and acoustic cluster in the region of Rhone-Alps

Automotive, aeronautic and train industries benefit from the organisation of a cluster in Rhône Alpes, France. More than 70 participating companies and institutions near Lyon and Grenoble lead in knowledge about Noise, Vibration and Acoustic comfort for the transport industries.

The aim behind the cluster is to demonstrate the expertise, products and services of the region to the Noise Vibration & Harshness (NVH) problem in transport industries. The region has a strong local economy based of trucks and aeronautics industries.

The cluster is being supported by the Lyon Chamber of Commerce since 2005. It includes the universities of Lyon and Grenoble, the region's technical centers, seven laboratories and more than 50 companies.
