Invited by the Chamber of Commerce of Medellin for Antioquia, the only organizational member of TCI in Latin America, TCI participated in the Forum "Progress and Results of the Competitiveness Strategy for Medellin City, Aburra Valley and Antioquia Region".

Invited by the Chamber of Commerce of Medellin for Antioquia, the only organizational member of TCI in Latin America, Juan Manuel Esteban (President of TCI) and Patricia Valdenebro (Project Manager) participated in the Forum "Progress and Results of the Competitiveness Strategy for Medellin City, Aburra Valley and Antioquia Region" held on November 13, 2007. They presented TCI covering in depth the inputs of cluster policies for regional development to a qualified audience of 250 business people belonging mostly to the 4 priority clusters in the region that make up the "Cluster Community in Medellin & Antioquia".
Medellin and Antioquia Cluster Community
Representatives of the Private Council on Competitiveness, the National Planning Department and the Administrative Department of Planning of Antioquia, introduced the guidelines of the competitiveness strategy at Colombian national and regional level during the Forum.
In addition to participating in the Competitiveness Forum and in the context of a busy schedule, representatives of TCI had the opportunity to meet with Luis Alfredo Ramos, Elected Governor of Antioquia, Gabriel H. Hinestroza, President of the Chamber of Commerce of Medellin for Antioquia, the Boards of Directors of the four Cluster Associations, the team of Planning and Development Department of the Chamber of Commerce, as well as participate in a program of the Camara FM radio station.

Invitados por la Camara de Comercio de Medellin para Antioquia, unico socio organizacional de TCI en Latinoamerica, Juan Manuel Esteban (Presidente de TCI) y Patricia Valdenebro (Project Manager) participaron en el Foro "Avances y Resultados de la Estrategia de Competitividad para Medellín, Valle del Aburra y Antioquia" celebrado el día 13 de Noviembre de 2007 y en el que tuvieron oportunidad de presentar TCI y profundizar en los aportes de las políticas de clusters orientadas al desarrollo regional, ante una cualificada audiencia de 250 empresarios pertenecientes en su mayoría a los 4 clusters prioritarios de la region que conforman la "Comunidad Cluster para Medellin & Antioquia".

En el Foro participaron tambien como ponentes representantes del Consejo Privado de Competitividad, el Departamento Nacional de Planeación y el Departamento Administrativo de Planeación de Antioquia, presentando los lineamientos a nivel nacional y regional de la estrategia de competitividad de Colombia.
Ademas de participar en el Foro de Competitividad y en el marco de una apretada agenda, los representantes de TCI tuvieron oportunidad de reunirse con Luis Alfredo Ramos, Gobernador Electo de Antioquia, Gabriel H. Hinestroza, Presidente de la Cámara de Comercio de Medellin para Antioquia, las Juntas Directivas de las cuatro Asociaciones Cluster, el equipo de Planeacion y Desarrollo de la Cámara de Comercio, así como participar en un programa de la emisora de radio Camara FM.
