Recruitment of specialized consultants in The Balkans

The Services Group, Inc. (TSG), an international economic development consulting firm and member of TCI is trying to locate a few European sector specialists who may provide consulting to a large multi-year cluster competitiveness project in The Balkans. The projects will focus on the Tourism, Agribusiness and Wood Processing sectors.

TSG is seeking long- and short-term consultants based in Europe for 2+ year projects in The Balkans. Consultants will assist with Private Sector Development, through policy reform and working directly with businesses. Applicants should have 5+ years of development experience working on USAID projects and regional experience in The Balkans. Applicants should also have effective oral and written communication skills in English and the ability to liaise with and train key government and private sector stakeholders.

SME Development Experts
Qualifications:

• Trade promotion experience in the EU
• Familiarity with labor productivity, policy constraints, and EU standards
• Experience with Cluster Development, especially in the following sectors: tourism, wood processing, or agrifood/agrobusiness
• Experience facilitating/working with working groups or business associations
• Ability to facilitate Public/Private Dialogue

Competitiveness Experts
Qualifications:

• Understanding of WTO and EU accession
• Experience with labor productivity and EU Standards
• Experience working with enterprises to improve competitiveness
• Ability to facilitate Public/Private dialogue
