Christian Blanc, deputy of the Yvelines parliament (France) has published the results of a study for a report to the Prime Minister on competitiveness in France and proposes an action plan to reveal the poles of competitiveness: "Pour un écosysteme de la croissance". The central objective is to build an autonomous growth engine pulled by innovation.
The report analyses the evolution of the French economic structure since 1945, explains the consequences for today's economy and then presents the necessary reforms to reachieve growth. Christian Blanc suggests that the key actors to obtain more dynamism are among academics, entrepreneurs and researchers. His propositions include giving back part of the competences (like SME assistance, innovation and research support) to the regional councils, the refoundation of universities or an enhanced financing of the research systems.
For downloading the report you will need the most recent version of PDF (in french only).
