The Cluster Policies Whitebook

The long awaited Whitebook is available for download! Based on the results of last year's TCI conference in Gothenburg, this Whitebook gives a kind of "state of the art" of cluster policies. Written by Dr. Thomas Andersson and his international team from IKED, it also played an important role in our Annual Conference in Ottawa. Each participant received a free hard copy of the Whitebook and some issues were discussed in different breakout sessions.

After The Competitiveness Institute's 6th Annual Conference in Gothenburg in 2003 on the theme of "Innovative Clusters - A New Challenge", an international team from IKED (International Organization for the Knowledge Economy and Enterprise Development) under the leadership of the President of the University of Jonkoping in Sweden, Dr. Thomas Anderson was requested by TCI to produce the Whitebook, based on the outcomes of the conference.

TCI plans to convert the digital version of the Whitebook into a kind of 'living document' where members can contribute comments and references.
