Ukraine: competing in the global economy. Strategies for success
This 2005 report was supported by USAID (U.S. Agency for International Development) and the report itself was carried out by international and Ukranian experts.
In 2000, the Ukraine's economy was growing steadily, which put it in the upper tier of the fast-growing economies worldwide. However this has to be made into a long term change and this report discusses the steps that the Ukraine will have to take in order to continously improve its economy.
Firstly it looks at the Ukraine in an international light and measures how well it is competing in major markets. Then it goes on to point out the sectors in which the Ukraine already has competences and comparitive advantages and goes on to explicate how they can optimize these in order to become an international player.
