Cluster Tours in Lyon
The cluster tours of this year's conference in Lyon have already taken shape. We have selected among the existing clusters and pole de competitivité some of the most interesting experiences for you. We hope you will be able to make your choice.
We have organized three parallel one-day tours on Monday:
-
Renewable Energy
-
Biological farm products, RFID technologies and Supercritical Fluids (Valence)
-
Nanotechnologies (Grenoble)
And two additional tours of half a day:
-
Biotechnologies / Lyon Biopôle (Lyon Area) and
-
Urban transportations (Lyon Area)
Parallel to the Academic Summit on Tuesday there are going to be two tours in the morning:
-
Digital Entertainment and
-
Technical Textile
On the
pre-program you can already find more information on the planned visits of each tour - the facilities you will see and the people you are going to meet.
For those who are already arriving during the weekend and want to take advantage of being close to the beautiful Alps, we offer a one-day trip to the mountain industry, which is more leisure oriented, but you are still going to meet with some of the representatives.
The cluster tours are included in the registration fee for the conference, but, at a small fee, the tours are also open to people who are not participating in the conference. In this way we hope to encourage also participation of companies in the region and business people from the same sector. The registration for the cluster tours if you are NOT a registered participant to the conference will open in September and is due to availability of space.
Every tour will be accompanied by people who are knowledgeable about the cluster or
pole de competitivite and who will give additional explanation and can answer your questions.
The tours are followed up by the Interclustering Forum on Tuesday evening, where meeting points will be prepared for each of the sectors. The idea behind this forum is to facilitate the contact between business people of the same industry - clusters from around the world meet the clusters of Rhône-Alpes. This forum is open to all participants of the conference and interested people from the different sectors.
