Report from the 3rd Stakeholder Seminar in Ghana

On 7 December 2006 19 stakeholders representing business, knowledge institutions and government met at The Ministry of Trade, Industry, Private Sector and President's Special Initiative for the 3rd Stakeholder Seminar of partnerships4competitiveness.

The 3rd Stakeholder Seminar 7 December 2006 was organized with the objective to:

· Make account of the achievements of the initiative so far – including initiation of the partnerships4competitiveness pilot project "Promoting competitiveness through cluster initiatives".

· Discuss experiences and lessons learned from past and present cluster and cluster-like initiatives in Ghana.

· Discuss the initiation of the "next generation" of activities of partnerships4competitiveness.
