Open Project Forum: New Projects among TCI Members

The 11th TCI Annual Global Conference in Cape Town provided a great atmosphere for networking among participants. As a consequence, several initiatives and new projects have emerged for the future. The Open Project Forum section in TCI website will be the meeting point for interested people and will be used for posting further material, discussions and information about the mentioned initiatives.

Two of the main initiatives that re-emerged in Cape Town in response to the interest of participants are the TCI Cluster Evaluation Network led by Örjan Sölvell (Stockholm School of Economics) and the TCI Cluster Dynamics Network led by Madeline Smith (Scottish Enterprise). Besides, a new initiative on Climate and Competitiveness has been launched in Cape Town.

Apart from the mentioned initiatives, and outstanding workshop on key cluster related issues or "hot topics" was held in Cape Town. The aim of this session was to define subjects to bring forward to TCI discussions and future conferences.
