A word from the president

Our 7th Annual Conference in Ottawa is approaching fast
(September 27 - October 1)!
I suggest you to have a look at the program which we are updating
nearly daily. The conference website furthermore offers
information about the conference venue, the registration
possibilities and partnership opportunities.
We also highly recommend you to register now and realize your
hotel and flight bookings as early as possible, the conference
takes place in a very busy week in Ottawa.
For the Conference we opted to continue with a similar model of
interactive sessions as in Gothenburg in parallel breakout
sessions. These sessions will follow eight different tracks to
allow a continous dialogue (each session leaves enough space for
discussion) among participants of the same interest group.
During the conference we will also have time to discuss the
results of the Whitebook that will be made available to all
participants of the conference.

Weaver clusters in Andhra Pradesh (India)

cluster in the Indian state Andhra Pradesh.

Software companies in Connecticut to receive mentoring
----------------------------------------------------------------
Companies of the Connecticut software clusters are about to
receive mentoring of corporate CEOs on how to further grow. The
Fast Track Program, an initiative of the state development
agency, matches big companies CEOs with small software companies
for a couple of hours per week.

Hugh Haworth,represents our new organizational member, the Office
of Economic Growth, Europe and Eurasia, U.S. Agency for
International Development, which has sponsored the development of
clusters in over 16 transition countries: Albania, Bosnia,
Bulgaria, Croatia, Kosovo, Macedonia, Romania, Serbia, and
Slovenia in Southeast Europe; Armenia Azerbaijan, Georgia,
Kazakhstan, Moldova, Russia, and Ukraine in Eurasia. These
initiatives have led to the formation of clusters in agriculture,
apparel, building materials, canned produce, feed grains,
furniture, maritime transport, tourism, and wine. EE
Competitiveness is ready to work with all parties actively
engaged in cluster development throughout Southeast Europe and
Eurasia.

TCI member list on line

To accommodate networking between members TCI publishes its
member list on line. To view the list make sure you are logged
in. In the list you will find address details as well as email,
telephone numbers and biographies.
To keep this list up to date TCI asks its members to check and if
necessary edit their details.
TCI only publishes data of members that gave their explicit
permission. Please do so by checking the "TCI may reveal my data
to other TCI members" option.

Positions for consultancy project Kosovo
